Education

I don't know much about the education system in other countries but in my beautiful country of Trinidad and Tobago there are just four or five 'special schools' to accommodate the thousands of children/young adults with special needs. Although there are persons that need to be taken of 24/7, there are those that just need the school to be wheelchair friendly or someone who knows Sign Language so I think that it would be better to just have special assistants for persons who need a little assistance. Then the citizens would be more educated where the differently abled are concern...

  2. that is so true!!!
funny enough as a child it never occurred to me that the disabled were not given the chance to go to school cuz we had a disabled person in our school and we fought to help him up an down the stairs with his wheel chair an treated him like any other child in the school.... no special treatment by teachers jus one of the crew!!!both in secondary an primary school!! now he's married with a daughter with a gr8 job!!! so i know first hand how it can work!
i believe when you jus have a network of people who love you and believe in you weather you are so called "normal" or with special needs...that the sky is the limit!!!keep it up tyron!!!
show all of us how its done!
