We Are The Society

This week while looking at the news, I saw a father who said that his seven (7) year old daughter who lived with her mother was raped repeatedly for the past three (3) years. Wait, it gets worse... The father said that he reported it to the police when he first noticed changes in his daughter years ago and no serious action was taken until the other day. If all this is true, something is wrong with society and the Government CANNOT fix the society because WE ARE THE SOCIETY!!!!!

Homeless Moms

Three (3) women and their eight (8) children sought refuge at the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) head office in Port of Spain on Thursday. The HDC which is a Government agency and one of its roles is to provide AFFORDABLE housing to our citizens including the poor ones.

You Cannot Be Serious

Weeks ago, a grandfather forgot to drop off his 17 month old grandson at the babysitter on his way to work, the baby died and the grandfather was charged with manslaughter. Okay. LAST WEEK, an 18-month-old boy was rescued from the back seat of the car he was left by a 50-year-old man who went shopping. The windows of the car were up and the doors were locked. Officers from the Chaguanas Police Station were on patrol in the area when they were alerted by shoppers that the child was in the vehicle. He was crying and gasping for air, eyewitnesses said. Officers broke the back glass of the car to gain access to the child. You knew about the death of the 17 month old and still left the 18 month old in the car with the WINDOWS UP??? Seriously?
