Help Raise Awareness Now

Trinidad is a very reactive society, yes, I said TRINIDAD and not Trinidad and Tobago because I think that Tobagonians are more proactive. But as for Trinidadians... When someone loses an arm, the person and the persons close to them suddenly realise that we need to raise awareness for persons who only have one arm and the same thing happens when someone acquires any other disability. It is time to stop waiting for something to hit home before you decide to help raise awareness.

Flood After Flood

It was very angering to be looking at the news and seeing that the Princess Elizabeth's home for differently abled got flooded out but it was even more angering when I read that this was the sixth time in the last ten years. The Government of Trinidad and Tobago recently announced plans to construct a new building at a new location but my question is, why wasn't this done after the first flood?

I Love My Body

When I'm choosing a new facebook profile picture, I hardly choose a picture which does not display my whole body because I think that it's important for people to see me as who I am and that is a differently abled man who is extremely comfortable in his skin.
